Project Manager Operations

SK Solar is looking for an experienced project manager. Must be well-versed in any aspect of a solar installation, handle day to day operations, work with vendors, sub-contractors, manage timelines, crews, for residential, and commercial projects.

Responsibilities are:
- Material and equipment forecasting in close cooperation with engineering
- Work with sales and engineering team to prepare project installations
- Must have good understanding of quality control and installation processes
- Work with various jurisdictions, utilities, and municipalities for permit and building requirements
- Handle purchasing, vendor relationships, have an eye on inventory
- Schedule crew, work with sales and management on installation timelines and project forecasting
- Overview costs of a project and limitations on budgets
- Be open to continuing education, learning about new technologies and new processes
- Be motivated and a self-starter, implement improvement processes and streamline operations
- Open to travel (local and out of state)
- Prepare site visits
- Can work well in a changing environment and open to new challenges
Required skill set:

- Well versed in excel, word, project management software (i.e. Zoho, Salesforce, or similar), mac and PC, able to handle basic Quickbooks toolsets (i.e. POs, invoices)
- Should have strong experience in solar and show initiative

On-Site Solar Construction/ Superintendent/ Lead- Installer

SK Solar is looking for an experienced person that can handle on-site construction and installation oversight for solar installations. Must be well-versed in any aspects of a solar installation, handle ground-mount and rooftop installations, residential, and commercial.

Responsibilities are:
- Supervise on-site installation of small and large solar projects
- Work with sales and engineering team to prepare project installations
- Oversee work materials needed
- Handle work crews and schedule labor
- Oversee quality control and installation processes
- Work with electrical and city code, OSHA, and other code requirements and assure compliance on project sites
- Guide projects through inspections and work with building inspectors throughout installs

Required skill set:
- Must be able to supervise crews and subcontracted labor
- Must have strong communication skills to work with in-house team
- Have strong knowledge of solar build standards and quality control
- Must be well versed in electrical code and applications
- Must have strong experience in solar and show initiative

This is a full-time salary position. In addition we are looking to fill open positions for installers, electricians, roofers and administration. We are looking forward to the right person joining our team.

Part-Time Bookkeeper needed - Quickbooks (~10 hrs/week)

We are looking for an experienced part-time bookkeeper to keep company records / expenses / income up-to date, organize invoicing, and update job-accounting. Important part is also to set up and update inventory in quickbooks. Must be very proficient in Quickbooks and also familiar with MAC. We are looking to keep the work environment as paperless as possible so must be comfortable in such environment.

Candidate must also be able to run accounts receivables and payables, assist management in financial analysis, provide cash flow and revenue forecasting, be able to handle certified and prevailing wage payroll, run payroll and manage applications for credit applications and consult on financial strategy.

Current workload will be approximately 10 hours per week, and could be growing. Pay will be paid per hour spend on the job and will be paid weekly. Compensation to be discussed.

Assistant Project Manager

We are looking for qualified individuals eager to help us realize residential and commercial solar projects efficiently and profitably. We are currently hiring for an Assistant Project Manager position to assist Project Manager on day-to-day project responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Assist in day-to-day project management duties on residential and commercial solar projects
- Permitting submittal and tracking
- Oversight of utility incentive and rebate programs
- Material procurement
- Administrative duties
- Interaction with on-site installation as necessary
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic
- Current college-level student or recent graduate, previous work experience preferred
- Good driving record
- Ability to travel on a consistent basis
- Interest in solar / construction industry

Solar installation company for turnkey systems is looking for solar installers, roofers and electricians. Must be well-versed in any aspects of a solar installation, handle ground-mount and rooftop installations, residential, and commercial.

Responsibilities are:
- On-site installation of small and large solar projects
- Work with sales and engineering team to prepare project installations
- Must have good understanding of quality control and installation processes
- Work compliant with electrical and city code, OSHA, and other code requirements and assure compliance on project sites
- Be open to continuing education, learning about new technologies and new techniques

Required skill set:
- Have strong knowledge of solar and all aspects of a solar install - electrical, materials, roofing, mechanical build standards
- Must be well versed in electrical code and applications
- Must have strong experience in solar and show initiative
